Don’t Fear Distance

You won’t get used to running long distances by thinking about them. You need to will yourself into experiencing them.
If you are doing a Spartan Sprint, get used to running/walking for 2 hours. If you are doing your first Spartan Super, better get familiar with running/walking for over 3 hours. Doing a Beast? Learn how to spend a whole afternoon on the move. Practice this and you will be fearless going into your race.
