SPARTAN VOLUNTEERS ARE THE BACKBONE OF EVERY SPARTAN RACE

As a Spartan Race volunteer, you will be instrumental in ensuring that our racers and spectators have an epic experience at the event.

WHAT ARE THE SHIFTS?


Spartan volunteers work hand in hand with Spartan employees to ensure a safe and fun time for racers. You will have the option to choose your own shift time, as well as which area you would like to be involved in at the race. The exact shift times vary per event, but there are half-day and full-day shifts available at each race.

  1. Registration: Checking in racers

  2. Festival: Assisting at the start & finish lines, merchandise and bag check area.

  3. Course: Cheering on racers and encouraging them to finish their course

  4. Course Marshall:Officiating the elite heat

  5. Kids Race: Motivating our little Spartans!



HOW DO I SIGN UP??

  1. Be sure to read through the Spartan Volunteer FAQ.

  2. Register your email to volunteer at an event.

  3. Keep an eye out for an email one month before the event to choose your shift. You are not registered as a volunteer until you’ve selected a shift. Once you’ve selected a shift, the volunteer coordinator will contact you a couple of days before the event with final details/information.

  4. BURPEES!! Make sure you know how to do a proper burpee!
